Klean Kanteen also supports numerous local initiatives and organizations committed to environmental conservation. With its "1% for the Planet" commitment, it has donated 1% of its annual revenue to environmental organizations since 2008. Klean Kanteen has also been B Corp certified since 2012, meeting the highest standards of corporate social responsibility.
Since 2020, they have been certified climate neutral, and this year we are pleased to announce that Klean Kanteen is one of the first companies to earn the climate label. This achievement marks the next chapter in the Climate Neutral Certified movement. The climate label is earned by companies that demonstrate they have implemented an internal carbon tax to support the climate transition. In addition, they fund projects that reduce emissions from their operations and supply chain, consistently contributing to the global net-zero transition.
