Elements teamweekend 2026
Choosing a different path together, consciously
Sometimes the right road is not the easiest one. Sometimes you need to slow down, deviate, and look for a new path.
For 2026, we say: “off the beaten track.” Not because we have to, but because real impact rarely happens on well-trodden paths. Those who want to take responsibility must dare to choose. Even when that choice asks more of us.
That mindset guided us during our annual Ardennes weekend — a weekend that, this year, did not take place in the Ardennes.
Stilstaan bij waar we staan
We arrived in the early evening. Unpacking luggage, choosing rooms, taking a moment to land.
Then we went straight to the core. Looking back in order to move forward. Christophe, Dominic and Philippe took us along the road we have already travelled and the one still ahead of us. Not with big promises, but with clear choices.
For us, off the beaten track does not automatically mean choosing what is fast or comfortable. It means choosing what feels right. Choosing trust. Teamwork. And the courage to look for a different way.
Vertrekken vanuit de basis
Friday started fresh and full of energy. We dove into the foot as a foundation — no coincidence, as our footwear range continues to grow. Podiatrist Filip gave us a clear overview of the foot: from anatomy and function to different foot types, movement and injuries. We also looked at the shoe itself, and how good shoe advice can truly make a difference.
After that, we got to work on concrete cases for specific brands: Care Plus, Klean Kanteen and Tenaya. Each of them an example of companies that refuse to follow the obvious path, and that prove commercial success and responsibility can go hand in hand.
Later that day, we discovered the story behind Tenaya, and in the evening, CSR took centre stage. Not as a separate topic, but as a common thread throughout everything we do. Engagement does not stop with our products or partners. It starts with ourselves in the choices we make every day.
Off the beaten track also means taking responsibility, even when no one is watching.
Samen naar buiten
On Saturday, we headed into nature with the entire team. A walk through the Flemish Ardennes, along a beautiful route, at a pace that allowed everyone to stay together.
As we walked, conversations emerged about Elements, about our role as a team, and about who we are. Being outdoors creates space for reflection, connection and new insights. It once again confirmed how important it is to occasionally take literal distance from the work context.
After the walk, we gathered around the fire. We enjoyed outdoor cooking: eating together, talking together, closing the day together. The fire brought warmth and turned the end of the day into a moment of connection.
Off the beaten track also means teamwork — finding a path together and taking each other into account.

Waar we voor kiezen
Off the beaten track is geen eenmalige keuze.
