Elements launches Impact Discount
From sell-in S24 on, retailers can receive an additional discount on their (distribution brands) preorder based on environmental impact criteria.


As a curator of renowned and purpose-driven brands, Elements tries to strengthen the relationship between people and nature. We see a future that is circular, where we no longer use fossil fuels, where we can easily use products we buy for (almost) a lifetime. Essentially where each and one of us has less negative environmental and social impact by default because our society is shaped that way. Today we incorporate this philosophy within our very core, sales. With it we hope to inspire and shape that small part of society in which we live as a business.


The Impact Discount is an additional discount that our distribution retail clients can receive on their preorder based on the environmental impact of their organization. Retailers can apply for the discount during preorder season.


We have created it as two non-cumulative levels: a 1% “entry-level” discount and a 2% “well-on-the-way” discount.

The impact discount is applied on top after existing discounts have been applied.


The 1% discount is applicable for those who source renewable electricity (based on specific Elements criteria per region) within their entire organization or are climate neutral certified according to an accepted (varies per region) third party. Our renewable electricity criteria reflect the need for regional renewable electricity production and sourcing.


The 2% discount is applicable for those who are B Corp Certified, a member of 1% for the Planet or have a Science-Based Target initiative validated carbon emission reduction target.


Together with the launch of this new preorder impact discount we want to underline our commitment to guiding our retail partners towards a more responsible business.

We understand that currently it may not be within everyone’s time/budget capacity to apply for the impact discount, but we are more than willing to get you started on the journey.


Finally, we hope this initiative can serve as a ripple effect throughout the retail sector. Outdoor/organic retailers and brands we have always been at the forefront of taking responsibility, passionately protecting our playground that is nature. It is time to start embedding this passion within our core business activities.
